3rd CEPI Conference in Keszthely

The University of Pannonia and the University of Veterinary Medicine Vienna organised the third international conference in the frames of the CEPI project funded by the Interreg V-A Austria-Hungary Cooperation Programme. The event took place in Keszthely on 14 February 2019.

2. Multi-Day Training

Multi-day training events comprise education far deeper and practical than a student exchange programmes. Such a programme, which enables students from veterinary medicine to gain knowledge on several aspects of poultry nutrition, and students of agriculture to receive information on the animal health consequences of nutrition, is unique in the region.
The first occasion took place betwen 28 and 30 November 2019 in Vienna with the participation of Georgikon students.
The second occasion took place in on-line form between 27 and 30 October 2020. This time, students of veterinary medicine received education in animal nutrition.

Multi-Day Training: Students from the Pannonian University visiting Vienna

Annual programs for the students form a fundamental part of the CEPI project. The purpose of these events is to familiarize students with the practical activities and the associated infrastructure of the partner university. This enables students to gain insights into areas that their undergraduate studies usually only touch on marginally. With this in mind, the poultry clinic of Vetmeduni Vienna was delighted to welcome ten students with their supervisor Prof. Dr. Károly Dublecz from the Pannonian University from 28th to 30th November 2019.

3. CEPI Summer School on Poultry Health & Nutrition in Vienna

From 24th to 27th of August 2020, the 3rd CEPI Summer School on Poultry Health and Nutrition took place at the VetmedUni Vienna. The event was organised in cooperation of the Clinic for Poultry (Vienna) with the Georgikon Faculty of the Szent István University (Keszthely, Hungary).

Vetmeduni students visit University of Pannonia

Yearly student exchange programmes represent a crucial part of CEPI project. The objective of these events is to provide opportunity for the students to get acquainted with the professional activities carried out and the related infrastructure at the partner university, and to gain knowledges on theories and practice complementary to the basic studies.
The programme of the student exchange on 6th and 7th of June 2019 was compiled with this objective in mind. On this occasion, the University of Pannonia (UP) hosted 12 students of the Vetmeduni.

Exchange programme of poultry specialists

The key objective of the expert exchange programmes organised in the context of CEPI is to provide a platform for personal discussions between poultry professionals of Hungary and Austria. Advisory board members from both countries, representatives of poultry production, feed production, poultry and egg processing companies participated in the joint professional event in February 2019.
