In order to send the newsletter, we require your e-mail address. Therefore, we need you to confirm that you are the owner of the e-mail address supplied and that you want to receive the newsletter through the double-opt-in-procedure. Upon registration you will receive a message to the e-mail address supplied by you. Distribution of the newsletter via mailchimp

The newsletter is distributed via “MailChimp”, a newsletter shipping platform of Rocket Science Group, LLC, 675 Ponce De Leon Ave # 5000, Atlanta, GA 30308, USA.
The e-mail addresses of our Newsletter recipients, as well as their other information described in these notes, are stored on the servers of MailChimp in the USA. MailChimp uses this information to send and evaluate the newsletters on our behalf. Furthermore, MailChimp may, according to its own information, use this data to optimize or improve its own services, e.g. for the technical optimization of the shipping and the presentation of the newsletter or for economic purposes, to determine from which countries the recipients come. However, MailChimp does not use the data of our newsletter recipients to write them or to pass them on to third parties.
MailChimp is certified under the “US-EU Privacy Shield” and is committed to complying with EU data protection requirements. Furthermore, we have concluded a data processing agreement with MailChimp. This is a contract in which MailChimp commits to protect the data of our users, to process it in accordance with its privacy policy on our behalf and, in particular, not to disclose it to third parties. The privacy policy of MailChimp can be viewed under https://mailchimp.com/legal/privacy/.

To process the dispatch of the newsletter, we only process your e-mail address. You may revoke the subscription to the newsletter or your given consent at any time. You can either cancel the newsletter on our website or you find a corresponding opt-out link at the end of each issue of the newsletter.

If you register for events via our website, your published data will be stored in the backend on our server. These data will be exported and processed as an Excel list for the purpose of the event and for the processing of the registration.
The data will be deleted as soon as there is no legal obligation to store the data.

Your rights

In principle, you have the rights for information, correction, deletion, restriction, data portability, revocation and contradiction. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law or your data protection rights have otherwise been violated in a way, you can complain to the supervisory authority.
