Study trip to Milan

InnoWood STUDY TRIP 18th – 21st April 2018

The study trip will take place within the framework of the INTERREG V-A Austria-Hungary ATHU59 project. Project-funded services: travel costs (bus), accommodation in a 3-4-star hotel in single and double rooms, half board, admission ticket to the furniture exhibition of the 'Salone Internazionale del Mobile' in Milan.

 

Planned program

Day 1 – 18th April

On the first day we only get dinner. Please bring your own food for the day!

05:00                      Departing from Sopron

07:00-07:30            Arriving in Graz, then continuation of the trip

                               Meeting point: MURPARK Ostbahnstraße 3, 8041 Graz

13:00-16:30            Company visit: CATAS SpA          

The CATAS laboratory is the largest wood and furniture industry institute in Italy and Europe. The activities they perform is mainly the examination of wood furniture

materials and products.

For example:

• examining the resistance and safety of furniture and components;

• physical-mechanical tests on materials (wood, plastics, composites);

• chemical analysis on materials (adhesives, paints, plastics);

• fire reaction tests

Day 2 – 19th April

07:55                      Departing from Brescia –by bus to railway station, by train to Milan

08:55                      Arriving in Milan (centre) – Travel to the Fair by underground

                               Visiting the Furniture Fair - Salone Internazionale del Mobile             

19:00/19:30           Dinner in Milan, followed by Milano by Night                      

22:00                      Travelling back to Brescia by bus or individually by public transport

                               (106 kms), Accommodation: Hotel Fiera

 

Day 3 – 20th April

07:55                      Departing from Brescia – by bus to railway station, by train to Milan

08:55                      Arriving in Milan (centre)

                               Visiting Fuorisalone

19:00/19:30           Dinner in Milan, followed by Milano by Night

22:00                      Travelling back to Brescia by bus or individually by public transport
