Language learning for kids in kindergarten and elementary schools

Thanks to the three synergy projects BIG AT-HU, AT-CZ and SK-AT (“Bildungskooperation in der Grenzregion”, education in the border region), 900 kids in 160 kindergarten and 270 schools got to know the languages of their neighbouring countries. In all these educational institutions, educationists have been trained how to embed multilingualism in their daily routine. On topics such as the support to multilingualism and socio-emotional skills or language acquisition in early education, extensive information and teaching resources have been developed, structured around modules, and are now available on the knowledge platform www.big-projects.eu in 5 languages.
